Dalton Elementary Charter School
The Dalton Elementary Charter School Media & Communications Center is the home to over 24,000 library books and materials. The collection consists of fiction, non-fiction, and reference for students and teacher use. Computer programs, special maps, professional books, and other materials are available for classroom use by teachers.
Instructional Goals:
- To ensure that every student acquires the information skills to become a self-reliant, successful learner.
- To provide a rich literature program which promotes lifelong relationships with libraries, books, and reading.
- To integrate information skills throughout the curriculum and to collaborate with teachers' instructional units.
